One of the worst problems when keeping chickens is dealing with Red Poultry Mites, which feed on your chickens during the night. These insects thrive during the warm summer months, meaning treatment must be increased to combat this type of infestation.

Red Mite Killer Sprays
Red Mite Killer Sprays are very effective at killing red mites in the coop. Sprays can cover more ground within and around the chickens house and will kill the mites on immediate contact. We recommend using Red Mite Killer Sprays on a regular basis to ensure your chickens, nesting box and coop are free from Red Mites.
 

Red Mite Killer Powders
Red Mite Killer Powders can be sprinkled into cracks and crevices in chicken coops. Some powders, contain insecticides, which will kill any mites that tread on the powders, stopping them from entering your chickens home. Some powders can be applied directly onto chickens for extra protection against red mites.
 

Red Mite Killer Kits
To combat red mites we recommend using a combination of Smite Professional Red Mite Killer and Smite Organic Red Mite Killer Powder. Smite Professional dissolves the exoskeleton and rapidly kills the mite by desiccation. The 2nd phase of attack uses Smite Organic Powder to cut through the insect and then absorbs the red mites lipids and body fluids, which causes them to dry out and die
 

Red Mite Killer Fumers and Foggers
Red Mite Killer Fumers and Foggers are ideally suited to help control red mite infestations. Once the Red Mite Killer Smoke Generator has been set off it, the fumer will release a powerful insecticide smoke throughout the chicken coop or similar, penetrating all nooks and crannies' where red mites like to hide.
